Hello, it’s lovely to meet you! If you’ve read my books I hope you enjoyed them! I’m working on a third which we will announce here as soon as there is more to share.
I love Victorian social history, which is why I set my books in this period.
I‘m this writing this blog in February 2024 - I can’t believe we’re two months into the new year already! Did you make any new year’s resolutions? My resolution was not to make any! February is the month of love, hope and most important of all — the promise of spring! The snowdrops in my garden have made it through the winter and are proudly showing their beautiful white flowers. A few little miniature irises have bravely shown their colours too, though I wonder if they now regret it having seen the weather
It’s a leap year this year, here’s a little poem I found on the internet which made me smile, I hope it makes you smile too!
Leap Year by Annette Wynette
Little month of February,
You are small, but worthy — very!
Will you grow up like the others,
Like your sister months and brothers?
Every four years with a bound
With a leap up from the ground,
Trying to grow as tall as they —
All you stretch is one small day!
Even then you’re no so tall
But just the shortest month of all.
If you’d like to hear more about me or my works, do let me know. Email me on [email protected]
Until next time…stay safe!
